LA Galaxy VS Philippine Azkals Finished With 6-1

The said to be dream cup of the Philippine Azkals against the MLS champ LA Galaxy ended with the 6-1 in favor of the Galaxy. The ever supportive Filipino soccer crowd filled Rizal Stadium Saturday night bringing the Filipino spirit cheering for the hot Azkals player and of course to David Beckham as well.

Beckham scored the first goal at the 20th minute followed by another one courtesy of Mike Magee leaving the Azkals with no score yet. The Azkals will not just watch the Galaxy score as they also did some tricks thus made way for Filipino-British striker Phil Younghusband slid in a goal in the 41st minute and the crowd went wild.

The Galaxy continued to score in the second 2 of which from Adam Cristman and one each from Robby Keane and Greg Belhalter. At the 76th minute Beckham left the field, stripped his jersey and gave it to the Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao who’s watching the game.

“What an amazing game it is!” says Chris Bech who witnessed the game on his television. “This is a game that the Azkals should cherish for a lifetime,” Chris Bech added.

Aside from the friendly soccer game, LA Galaxy’s star player David Beckham took time to visit the former Filipino street kids in a UNICEF-supported children’s shelter in Manila being a UNICEF ambassador.
