Philippines Got 37, 679 Newly Registered Nurses Today

The much anticipated Nursing Licensure Exam for Nurses result in the Philippines has been out already and it has revealed 37, 679 passers out of 91,008 who took the exam last July 2010. These number of nurses will now join the other thousands of registered nurses who still don’t get a nursing job. For the newly passed nurses, good job. However, passing the licensure exam doesn’t end there. These thousands of registered nurses would then add up to the thousands who are still looking for a hospital job. The real quest

The exams were given in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, La Union, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

It has been to a lot of nurses here in the Philippines that it is not easy to get a hospital job in the country. Most especially now that the number of nurses are already flooding. For those who want to get a job immediately, they don’t have any other choice but to engage on jobs which are not related to their profession like in call centers. Unfortunately, some of these call centers are filtering nursing graduates from their companies because once they get a chance to work in the hospital or a nursing job out country, they would immediately resign from the company.

Once and for all, congratulations to the newly registered nurses. Hoping that you all could get a hospital job soon.
